Job Title: Demand Planning Sr Analyst
Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Demand Planning Manager
Location: Onsite (M-F) at our Alpharetta, GA Office
Pay is dependent upon experience and will be discussed during the consideration process.
Overview: The Supply Chain Demand Planning Sr Analyst supports demand planning and supply chain functions by consolidating, analyzing, and reporting on sales, forecast, volume, and price data. This role is key in identifying trends, improving supply chain decisions, and providing analytical support for the S&OP process.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

- Consolidate and maintain data: Manage databases of sales history, forecast, volume, and price data; ensure data integrity and timely updates.
- Develop and automate reports and dashboards: Create tools and templates for monitoring forecast performance and identifying trends.
- Collaborate with sales staff to analyze deviations: Compare actual sales with forecasts; investigate variances and propose improvements.
- Support integration with other supply chain functions: Assist in aligning demand data with production, distribution, and inventory management activities.
- Reconcile Point of Sale system and Financial systems monthly or as needed.
- Participate in scenario and sensitivity analysis: Help evaluate the impact of different market conditions on demand.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports: Respond to requests from management and other stakeholders for specialized analyses.
Ability, Skills & Knowledge:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in supply chain analysis, demand planning, or a similar analytical role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain data findings clearly.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (including queries, macros, and pivot tables); familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, SQL or similar tools is a plus.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and support multiple stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Continuous Improvement: Willingness to learn and implement new tools and processes for data analysis and reporting.
- Must display good employability skills (attendance, job performance, attitude, willingness to work, etc.).
- Travel 10-15%
