Overview

Location: Big Spring, TX

Seeking qualified and experienced candidates. Will be responsible for ensuring safe efficient, and proper operation of various pieces of heavy equipment. Must be dedicated, willing to learn and wanting to build a career while achieving the highest level of safety standards. 

Roles & Responsibilities

•  Maintaining safe operations of heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, screed machines, skid steer, backhoes, rollers, etc. 
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures at all times. 
• Wearing proper PPE equipment when necessary. 
• Practicing good housekeeping and maintaining the appearance of the equipment inside and out. 
• Maintaining good communication skills when dealing with internal and external teams. 
• Ability to follow directions. 
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary.  

Ability, Skills, & Knowledge  

• Minimum 2 years or more of experience in equipment operation 
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation to work 
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks 
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions 
• Ability to work well with others 
• High school education or GED equivalent
