Overview
The Senior Analyst, IT SOX Compliance is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, execution, and monitoring of the organization’s internal control framework. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting, compliance with applicable regulations, and effectiveness of operational processes. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with various departments to ensure processes are operating as intended, provide support to ensure the appropriate operation of controls, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Internal Control Framework Support:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s internal control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with business owners to ensure key controls are executed in accordance with expected practices.
- Effectuate change and implement control practices through a risk focused lens.
- Control Testing & Compliance:
- Coordinate and support the successful execution of control practices and processes.
- Support external and internal auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and information.
- Track and monitor issues and remediation efforts
- Coordination:
- Partner with IT leaders, Internal Audit, Finance and 3rd Party service providers to ensure IT SOX controls testing is effectively managed.
- Coordinate with external auditors and SOX consultants on ITGC and SOX-related activities.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process and control enhancements, supporting initiatives to improve overall efficiency and control effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations to management for process optimization and control automation.
- Training & Support:
- Provide guidance and support to process owners and other internal stakeholders on control-related matters.
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions to promote awareness of internal control concepts and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in internal controls, audit, or risk management.
- Understanding of SOX requirements and COSO internal control framework.
- Experience with control testing, risk assessments, and audit processes.
- Inquisitive and proactive in identifying problems and proposing creative solutions
- Actively solicit, receive and apply feedback well
- Strong collaborative and communication skills to coach IT leaders and business stakeholders on compliance and controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ERP experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certification (i.e., CISA, CIA or CPA)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish

Pay range: $95,000 - $115,000
