Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Position - We are looking for a skilled Industrial maintenance technician to oversee the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. As an industrial maintenance electrical technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services, troubleshooting electrical/electronic equipment, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. To ensure success as an industrial maintenance electrical technician, the applicant is preferred to have electrical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Electrical voltage meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance
- PLC and Troubleshooting skills.
- Electrical, Troubleshooting (High/Low Voltage) preferred or internal/external training equivalent.
Comply with all company policies and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Ensure Argos Quality Assurance Policy is fully implemented-take samples and send for analysis.
Manage compliance of the Argos Safety Program to ensure personnel and contractors are working in a safe manner in accordance with policies and procedures.
Ensure all aspects of his/her role are executed in a safe manner.
Ensure employees, contractors, equipment, and processes meet or exceed OSHA and Argos guidelines and standards.
Pursue an objective of âzeroâ injuries or incidents.
Engage with personnel and contractors to reinforce safe behaviors.
Ensure the terminal runs efficiently and in compliance with Safety regulations and Argos policies and procedures.
Responsible for all terminal maintenance and preventive maintenance to ensure no breakdowns.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, wire diagrams, and technical data/diagrams
Support the Installation of new production equipment.
Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, breakers, transformers, coils, lighting, and other related electrical equipment.
Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
Troubleshooting electrical or electronic breakdowns.
Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
Promotes safety through the actions.
