Summit Materials, market leading producer of aggregates and cement, is seeking Fleet Mechanics to join their team in the Jax University FL area.

If you have a mechanical background and experience working with hydraulics. This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss! CDL is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic systems, ensuring proper operation and minimizing downtime.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as JPRO, PPT, and other scan tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electronic issues efficiently.
  • Operate company vehicles as needed, maintaining a valid driver’s license and clean driving record in compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mixer trucks and other heavy-duty equipment, applying experience across various truck and equipment types.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical systems with a focus on electrical components, including wiring, sensors, and control modules.
