Mobile Quarry Foreman

Overview
Location: Leavenworth, KS
Reports To: Area Manager
This role is accountable for all aspects of mobile quarry performance by effectively planning work, organizing, and leading the team while optimizing quality, safety. This role is also responsible for ensuring strategies to optimize and continuously improve performance, production schedules, cost-effectiveness, and building people capabilities. Current locations are Onaga, Soldier, and Leavenworth but can vary.
Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of the quarry including review and understanding of performance metrics.
- Implement efficient manufacturing processes and strategies to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Coordinates the activities at the qtarry including mining, raw material handling, clinker storage, crushing/screening, aggregate storage, and outbound loading.
- Plan together with staff all equipment corrective, preventive maintenance, and major outages.
- Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and hold teams accountable for KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety.
Ability, Skills & Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of plant operations/management experience (preferably in a union, cement/production-orientated environment).
- Ability to meet responsibilities associated with a mobile plant operation.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to address root cause and troubleshooting of operational issues.
