Role & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Oversee computer-controlled plant equipment, including process controls and emission monitors.
- Maintain power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Plan and manage electrical and instrumentation regulatory programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment as needed.
- Respond to supervisor requests for resets and fuses.
- Install power and control wiring as necessary.
- Attend company training for safety and equipment updates.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Practice safe work habits and adhere to safety policies, always wearing appropriate PPE.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards during maintenance tasks.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant motors, circuit breakers, transformers, and related equipment.
- Be available for emergency callouts outside regular shifts.
- Work collaboratively and individually to ensure timely repairs and thorough maintenance inspections.
- Familiar with electrical symbols, diagrams, and the ability to research solutions using electronic and printed resources.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen.
Ability, Skills & Knowledge:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Minimum of certification(s) in Industrial Electrical principles or related field.
- Must have Industrial Electrical experience.
Requirements:
- Complete online testing of technical skills
- Hands-on Testing
- In-Person Interview
- Ability to work in extreme heat and cold, exposed to external weather conditions
- Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions

Frequent exposure to walking on rocky, irregular surfaces that may be muddy and in reduced lighting conditions, moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, high and/or confined spaces, fumes, airborne particles, outside weather conditions and explosives. Occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) lbs. independently and tolerate moderate noise levels.
