Individual performs various duties at truck and equipment repair shops. Maintains excellent housekeeping around the shop by sweeping, shoveling, etc. Organizes tools and parts for efficient work. May perform repairs as needed to shop equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Performs housekeeping duties to keep the shop clean for safety and efficiency.
- Collects trash from containers and empties into a dumpster on the premises.
- Vacuums, sweeps, and or mops floors as needed.
- Cleans all counters and surfaces.
- Cleans restroom mirrors, fixtures, and surfaces and restocks toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- Assist the shop foreman with the daily operations and upkeep of the shop.
- Performs ongoing “5S” duties, i.e., organizes tools and parts for efficient work.
- Properly dispose of scrap metal shop waste streams according to established plans.
- Ability to access all areas of the shop to perform necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
- Other duties as directed.

- Always display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
- Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Policies, Programs & Procedures Manual.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
