The Reliability Coordinator reports to the Maintenance Manager as outlined in the above organizational chart.  The main objectives of the role are to promote the maintenance management system, maintain and improve the plant reliability ensuring the appropriate application of maintenance procedures, methods, and best practices. Assist the department by managing the performance metrics, conducting analyses and recommending follow-up actions in order to optimize resources, increase asset life, and reduce overall costs.

Role & Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work is identified in an accurate and timely manner using the CMMS system.
  • Continuous improvement in capability and output of the reliability team.
  • Technical performance
  • Job Plans Effectiveness
  • Inspection. Execution PM’s and Lubrication compliances
  • Improve reliability, specially raw mills, kiln and cement mills, as well as equipment failure rate.
  • Reduction of the number of stoppages on incidents (NSFI)
  • Increase of Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)
  • No rework
  • Reduction of number of repetitive stoppages.
  • Compliance to the company Maintenance Practices of the Reliability Pillar
  • Percentage of Best Practices implemented.

 

Educational Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and five (5) years' maintenance experience in heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing field. Experience in Cement Manufacturing desired. Previous ex-perience as a Reliability Engineer is highly desirable. A combination of industrial experience and technical edu-cation will be considered. 

 

Experience/Skills Requirements:

 

  • Exposure to and/or experience in the fundamentals of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
  • Flexible team player with strong inter-personal skills, and demonstrated ability to deal with adverse human and technical situations
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative based on sound problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills via personal standards of conduct, work ethics, and ability to delegate
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information, financial reports, and legal documents  
  • Must possess solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Project
  • Previous experience with a major CMMS, SAP required.
