Overview
Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Location: "East" Ga Territory - Lawrenceville / Athens / Oxford / Monroe
Reports to: Sales Manager
Compensation: DOE (Base + Annual Bonus)
General Purpose of the Job
Responsible for all aspects of sales/revenue generation within his/ her sales area; from lead generation through collection while maintaining and improving on current customer relationships within their sales area. Results are measured through the achievement of budgeted EBITDA, volume and revenue, while maintaining, average selling price, market share, superior customer service/relations and profitability. Additionally, responsibilities include promoting a Culture of Safety and implement all required safety policies and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong customer relationships and be proactive in understanding customer service
- Maintain a strong grasp of all competitors’ actions, prices and strategy.
- Develop action plans and establish objectives and goals to meet the divisional targets.
- Market Tracking for hard numbers and intelligence.
- Customer and project prospecting, and relationship development.
- Administration: Computer usage for email, quoting, spreadsheets, contracts etc.
- Negotiates with customers, using active listening to address their concerns thoroughly and understand what they want from a purchase.
- Quote prices to projects large or small, providing our customers with written confirmation.
- Assisting in the coordination of deliveries to all projects large and small.
- Work with customers to resolve problems either internal or external.
- Spending 50% of time in the field working with project managers, superintendents and placing finishers.
- Maintain a daily log of customer calls and upcoming projects.
- Promoting value added and specialty products.
- Operate within safety, environmental policies and best practices
Technical Knowledge:
- 3 to 6 years of commercial sales experience within building materials or associated industries.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
