Overview

Location: Rosenberg, TX

e are looking for a responsible Receiving Clerk/system user to work with the Equipment operations team to make orders within the purchasing and maintenance management systems, coordinate delivery, and receive orders within the systems.

A receiving/system user clerk must have a keen eye for detail and basic math skills. They must also be able to learn system functions and processes adequately and have the clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.

The goal is to ensure we correctly and timely place orders with the systems accurately and follow the prescribed processes to complete all orders.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Proven experience as a receiving clerk or similar position

· Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data such as Excel, Coupa, TMT, Lavatory - oil sample web-based system, or other similar programs specific to the industry.

· Solid understanding of health and safety regulations

· Basic math and recording abilities

· Excellent organizational skills

· Great communication and interpersonal abilities

· A keen eye for detail

· Time management skills

· Identify priorities and act accordingly

· High school diploma preferred

· Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with Equipment group team members to acquire needed parts and materials

· Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries

· Communicate effectively with any discrepancies

· Good understanding and following processes to accomplish tasks

· Manage time for all required tasks by deadlines and focus on process improvement to maximize task efficiency

· Verify packages according to orders and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.), closing them timely to avoid out-of-period costs

· Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified and timely track shipments and deliveries

· Ensure invoices are signed, coded, and attributed to proper jobs or equipment for satisfactory deliveries

· Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control

· Ability to prepare and sustain accurate metric reporting on efficient delivery of products, invoice processing, and inventory stock

· Other projects or duties as assigned
