Location: San Antonio, FL
Reports To: Operations Manager
Compensation: $28 - $31 based on experience

Roles & Responsibilities
- Verify batching orders received from dispatch facility.
- Batches concrete mix according to customer requests and design specifications.
- Accurately loads ready mix trucks for delivery as scheduled
- Maintains an accuracy of driver and customer ticket order scheduling
- Coordinates incoming materials and maintain proper inventory levels as needed.
- Oversee materials are placed in appropriate bins.
- Schedule drivers based on customer demand
- Supervises drivers resolving employee behavior, work schedule, load quality, reviews and approves payroll, attendance, disciplinary action and performs annual reviews.
- Review pre-trip and post-trip driver logs.
- Production reports
- Ensuring customer service
- Maintains housekeeping tasks of plant office and premises to conform to company and legal standards.
- Daily and monthly inventory
- Quality control tasks such as moisture checks, slump tests, air entrainment tests and temperature of materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies
- Maintain preventative maintenance logs for the plant
- Monitor chemical inventories
- EPA reporting requirements
- Inspect plant equipment and notify management of maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Conduct monthly safety meetings.
- Ensures Hours of service are followed and enforced
- Responsible for collection of COD’s daily.
Ability, Skills & Knowledge
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrates proficiency in difficult and high-pressure situations.
- Must possess, or be able to obtain, a DOT certification
- Must be able to pass a background check, fitness for duty evaluation, and pre-employment drug testing.
- Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds in weight
- Must be able to climb silos up to 100 feet
- Must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements and noise.
- Ability to follow and add to safety culture to create a safe work environment.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Must be able to pass a background check, fitness for duty evaluation, and pre-employment drug testing.
- High school education or GED equivalent.
