Plant Maintenance Technician

Overview

This position is responsible for providing stationary equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, and fabrication. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclinded and have experience in welding.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ability to follow instructions
• Must be able to work 10-12 hour shift daily
• Must be able to occasionally work Saturdays
• Role requires employee to work at high elevations
• Will be welding and doing some mechanical work on the asphalt plant
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures at all times
• Wearing the proper PPE equipment including fall protection when necessary

Ability, Skills, & Knowledge

• Must know how to cut and arc weld (mig or tig)
• Mechanically inclined 
• Needs to be able to work at higher elevations
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to comprehend simple instructions
• High school education or GED equivalent
