Bobtail Driver/Laborer - Kilgore Landscape Center

Overview

Summit Materials is looking for a mechanically inclined, safety-oriented delivery driver. This job does not require a CDL, but it is necessary to be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card. This position will be required to drive Delivery Bobtail Truck or Pickup Truck & Trailer delivering Landscaping & Construction material to Residential & Commercial locations. Providing help around the landscape center when not out delivering material, operating a variety of heavy equipment vehicles used in loading trucks with material and other various duties as assigned.  As a member of your team, the success of this operation is very dependent on your willingness and desire to be a team player. Roles & Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment and Company Vehicles in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Possess a Valid Driver’s License, Clean Driving Record, and Ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card
• Additional Preferred Skills
• Previous construction experience preferred
