Laborer - Highland, UT

Overview

Kilgore, a Summit Materials company, is looking for a  Groundman Laborersin our Aggregate division. In this position you will be responsible for supporting production operations by performing work required to maintain consistent operation of plant and equipment. 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping practices on plant and equipment using water hoses and shovels. 
• General labor duties such as shoveling and sweeping. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delays. 
• Repair crusher, i.e. liner changes, oil systems, and operations, monitor and change worn parts. 
• Operating skid steers. 
• Performing basic plant preventative maintenance. 
•  Cross train with other positions to maximize abilities within 

Skills & Experience   

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions. 
• Valid drivers license is required. 
• MSHA certification preferred. 
• Previous quarry/mining experience preferred.
