Shop Service Clerk

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shop Service Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of our maintenance divisions. This in-office role plays a vital part in keeping our fleet and shop operations organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with strong office and communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s Fleet Service Program through local dealerships
• Update and maintain records in the fleet management program
• Maintain the daily fleet repair log and driver qualification (DQF) files
• Assign and monitor access to company fuel islands
• Maintain fleet registration and compliance records
• Create and manage vehicle decals and company fleet identification numbers
• Support other administrative and operational tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience working in an office environment preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer use
• Comfortable using office equipment including phones, scanners, and printers
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate with multiple departments
• Previous experience or familiarity with a maintenance or fleet shop environment is helpful but not required
